[02:15]<@Mulreay> This video is taking sooooooooooo long to edit
[02:15]<@BC_Programming> chanbot be silent
[02:17]<@Mulreay> heh
[02:21]<@Mulreay> There was so much lag I had to cut down the fireworkd desplay to like a minute.. but managed to capture some good stuff.. thanks again BC_Programming
[02:21]<@Mulreay> wow
[02:22]<@Mulreay> on the spelling
[02:22]<@BC_Programming> haha cool
[02:25]<@Mulreay> God dammit need to make a 200 videos image now to add to the end.. so much work for a video that nobody will watch
[02:37]<@Mulreay> OK rendering.. will take a good hour and a half
[02:39]<@Mulreay> Just 50mins apparently
[02:39]<@Mulreay> Which means about 1hr 20mins
[02:40]<@Mulreay> It wasn't quite the recording I would have liked.. would have liked to film the fireworks from multiple angles but lag was getting nuts
[02:45]<@Mulreay> then again never be afraid to fail. What's the point? You're gonna fail anyway, you failure.
[02:49]<@BC_Programming> <insert generic positive platitude>
[02:49]<@Mulreay> haha nice
[02:52]<@Mulreay> The worst thing now BC_Programming is you made me a (epic cool) fireworks display and just wait for the 'erm BC_Programming do you fancy helping me make some houses and stuff' part of the build.
[02:55]<@BC_Programming> heh
[02:56]<@BC_Programming> I may have flown around and taken a look, very nice work there
[02:56]<@BC_Programming> the patches of different biomes are a bit of a bother I would say
[02:58]<@Mulreay> How do you mean?
[02:58]<@Mulreay> and thanks
[02:59]<@BC_Programming> well the grass colours are all splotchy
[02:59]<@Mulreay> yeah that is a pain but when i add paths most of it will go
[03:00]<@BC_Programming> you could change it all to one biome with mcedit I think
[03:00]<@Mulreay> as in most of the inside will be brick etc with some flower beds and trees
[03:04]<@BC_Programming> heh checkerboard the entire map between swamp and jungle
[04:27]<@Mulreay> OK video is uploaded
[04:27]<@Mulreay> but private
[04:48]<@Mulreay> I swear Samsung Kies was written by 2yr olds

[13:55]<+camerongray> ...[20:51:33] <guest_36> camerongray,which is the best download manager?
[13:55]<+camerongray> [20:51:59] <camerongray> I used Intenet Download Manager many years ago, but don't feel the need for one anymore
[13:55]<+camerongray> [20:52:17] <camerongray> Only needed it when my connection constantly dropped out which has never been a problem for a good few years
[13:55]<+camerongray> [20:52:41] --> guest_22 (Mibbit@mib-6A8FB656.dsl.pltn13.sbcglobal.net) has joined #computerhope
[13:55]<+camerongray> [20:53:50] <guest_36> okay just a doubt, sometimes when i use internet download manager and when i download from some websites like hotfile.etc it does not automatically capture a download that is in zip or rar format sometimes,it will get captured by firefox, but it is already set in the file types
[13:55]<+camerongray> [20:54:07] <guest_36> but when i download from other websites it works
[13:55]<+camerongray> [20:54:35] <camerongray> Ahh, sounds like a problem with the way that some of those websites start the download, not sure if other download managers would work differently
[13:55]<+camerongray> [20:54:47] <guest_36> because of it doesent capture the download, firefox downloads a webpage because the link quickly expires
[13:55]<+camerongray> [20:54:54] <camerongray> Trying to remember the name but there is a download manager that is a Firefox addon, that might work better
[13:55]<+camerongray> [20:55:13] <lostcoast> filezilla
[13:56]<+camerongray> Clearly knows what filezilla is then!
[14:56]<@Mulreay> wow, he's dumb as s***
[14:58]<@Mulreay> Hey hollywood Reboot a superhero film by making the same film, turning the lights down, and putting him in a darker suit. Just saying
[15:34]<@BC_Programming> http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,138181.0/topicseen.html
[15:35]<@BC_Programming> Reply #6
[15:35]<@BC_Programming> " it had been running fine for months and to my memory the trouble started after i ran a reg clean up with jvc power tools"
[15:35]<@BC_Programming> But registry cleaners are always good!
[15:38] * Nat (natman97@mib-642FCA28.socal.res.rr.com) has joined #glitchpc
[15:38]<@Mulreay> ahh that old reg cleaner chestnut.. when will people learn
[15:39]<@BC_Programming> when they stop listening to people in CH chat
[15:39]<@BC_Programming> that's usually a good first step to learning
[15:41]<@Mulreay> heh indeed
[15:53]<@Mulreay> Uploading a video of my housemates doggy... as you do.
[15:58]<+camerongray> Yay! I like dogs :P
[15:59]<@BC_Programming> no fireworks vid up yet?
[15:59]<@BC_Programming> oh wait there it is
[15:59]<@BC_Programming> stupid youtube sub box
[16:04]<@BC_Programming> lol! you found my stick person
[16:10]<@Mulreay> heh yeah made me chuckle
[16:13]<+camerongray> And now according to LC, trying sticks of RAM individually is not a diagnostic step
[16:13]<@BC_Programming> What is his reasoning
[16:13]<+camerongray> Telling person to get a new motherboard without checking RAM or resetting CMOS first
[16:13]<@BC_Programming> non-existant presumably
[16:13]<+camerongray> Not sure, just acted like I wasn't making sense :P
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:06:41] <camerongray> I had it earlier, will find it
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:06:47] <lostcoast> how do you test ram if it wont boot or enter bios?
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:06:47] <Hopebot> To get into CMOS(BIOS) setup reboot the computer, as it starts watch for a prompt saying: press X to enter setup, where X could be the F1, F2, Del, or other key. When you see this message press that key to enter CMOS setup. Additional information about CMOS and CMOS setup can be found at http://www.computerhope.com/help/cmos.htm
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:06:58] <camerongray> Try sticks individually
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:07:03] <camerongray> Unlikely that both sticks are bad
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:07:08] <-- SpringMissile (Mibbit@7EF9DA62.670224E2.C5D36BD7.IP) has quit (Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client)
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:07:11] <lostcoast> how?
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:07:12] <camerongray> That does assume there are two sticks which I was going to ask
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:07:33] <guest_14> lostcoast: thinking about the same...
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:07:36] <-- patio (patio@mib-BC0970C9.neo.res.rr.com) has quit (Connection reset by peer)
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:07:38] <lostcoast> only if it boots and I dout it will cd boot with no bios
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:07:47] --> patio (patio@mib-BC0970C9.neo.res.rr.com) has joined #computerhope
[16:14]<+camerongray> [23:08:13] <camerongray> If it has one bad stick, then running them individually could test this
[16:22]<@Mulreay> OK doggy video is up, camerongray I know you like animals so take a look at my housemates doggy
[16:22]<+camerongray> looking
[16:23]<+camerongray> Doggies!
[16:23]<@Mulreay> lol
[16:24]<+camerongray> He comes into the office sometimes: http://t.co/P71NC5x
[16:24]<@Mulreay> heh, cute doggy
[16:25]<+camerongray> yeah
[16:25]<+camerongray> Thinks he's a cat!
[16:25]<+camerongray> Like, you walk in and he just stands to let you pet him
[16:25]<@Mulreay> heh cool
[16:25]<+camerongray> Sometimes he turns into a dog though :P
[16:25]<+camerongray> Owner went into a meeting and he sat at the door crying :(
[16:26]<+camerongray> One time was super funny...
[16:28]<+camerongray> Managing director came running in and jumped straight on the phone, didn't notice Lucky (the dog) lying under the desk (didn't even know he was in) that sits against his - Lucky licks his leg then jumps up in his face - MD jumps up, yells and drops phone :P
[16:28]<@Mulreay> I don't show it in the video for obvious reasons but part way through a (very good) pit bull owner walked out of the trees on a leash so i ran to grab her and stepped on her paw.. my name was mud after that.. proper yelp and I was scrabbling around trying to get her leash on. Great job on the other guy though we just had a quick head nod to each other that we are responsible doggy owners
[16:29]<+camerongray> Nice
[16:29]<+camerongray> Trying to remember how old Lucky is, 5/6 I think
[16:29]<@Mulreay> Ours is 8
[16:30]<+camerongray> Ahh
[16:30]<@Mulreay> We still call her the 'pup'
[16:30]<+camerongray> lol, yeah, same with Lucky's owner
[16:30]<+camerongray> He lives in North Berwick (Small seaside town east of Edinburgh) - Everyone seems to know Lucky!
[16:31]<+camerongray> We were there watching his owner in a tennis competition, Lucky just walks off and up to random people, they are all "Oh hi Lucky, how are you today?"
[16:31]<@Mulreay> heh
[16:33]<+camerongray> Sometimes he'll just come and lean on me!
[16:33]<+camerongray> Working with one hand on computer, other poking the dog
[16:33]<@BC_Programming> he'll come on you? oh no I misunderstood
[16:33]<+camerongray> lol!
[16:34]<@Mulreay> It's great when my mates come over, she just goes nuts and after a while tries her hardest to sleep on them.
[16:34]<+camerongray> lol!
